Lisa graduated from UPEI in 2001 with a BSc. in Psychology, where she also worked as a Research Assistant and Assistant Project Coordinator. She returned to Calgary shortly afterwards and worked for 18 years in various hospitals and programs. She began working in neuropsychological assessment and research coordination at the Alberta Children's Hospital in 2003, with a focus on traumatic brain injury, oncology, and epilepsy populations. In 2007, Lisa moved to working in mental health with adults and also with adolescents in inpatient psychiatry, and also in in psychological assessment as well as program coordination. Lisa also has training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and holds a coaching certification through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She moved back to PEI in 2021, and is happy to be working with children, adolescents, and adults to provide much needed psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
