He has experience assisting individuals struggling with concerns related to ADHD, anxiety, depression, identity, low self-esteem, mental toughness, motivation, and suicidality. He tailors his approach to each individual that he works with and has worked with a wide range of clients, including children and young adults with anxiety, depression, self-injury, and other areas of concern. Stephen is highly skilled at helping individuals develop their resiliency and competencies related to emotional regulation and executive functioning. Stephen has a Master's degree from the Counselling Psychology program at the University of Calgary and also holds a BA in Psychology from Mount Royal University. He has over 9 years experience helping children, young adults, and families to improve their functioning and meet their needs and goals, including more than 2 years experience with formal counselling and assessment as a registered provisional psychologist. This includes working in residential programs, counselling in partnership with the Ministry of Children’s Services, and coordinating an alternative school program for high-risk youth.
