Vanessa Boila

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Vanessa holds a BFA in Dramatic Arts and BEd in Drama Education, both from the University of Lethbridge, along with a BA in Psychology (Honours) from Mount Royal University. She also holds a MEd in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alberta.

As a certified teacher in Alberta for over a decade, Vanessa has worked with children, youth, and families in a variety of roles. Beyond her contributions in the classroom, Vanessa has directed large-scale drama productions and coached youth sports. She has volunteered for several years with developing health and wellness supports for students, facilitating conversation practice with English language learners, mentoring young adults, tutoring individuals with developmental disabilities, and providing crisis support to individuals of all ages.

Vanessa takes a curious and collaborative approach in all that she does. She is passionate about all aspects of the formal assessment process, from developing rapport and administering assessments to communicating assessment results. Vanessa strives to understand the hopes, goals, and aspirations of the clients and families that she works with to provide guidance for the next steps onward.
